Get Involved! There are many creative way to support Jack's Lemonade Stand for SickKids - your gift of time, money, or encouragement are all valuable ways to show that you believe. The hospital receives public funding that provides for the basics of health care. But SickKids does much more than provide the basics, and to continue to be a world leader in children's health research and care, it needs your support. It's easier than you might think to support Jack's Lemonade Stand for SickKids and no idea is too small or too big. Help Jack make sick kids better, one cup at a time. Fall 2008 Jack gets a new puppy, Nelson, and starts training him to become a therapy dog at SickKids. A special thanks to Dealing with Dogs for their generous support of Nelson's training! Recent Events ... August Buskerfest Festival hosts Jack's Lemonade Stand in support of Epilepsy Toronto's Children's Programs and Services July Maclean's magazine calls Jack "Canada's Youngest Philanthropist" Jack deemed a "Huggable Hero" and is awarded $10,000 from Build-A-Bear Workshop. June 28 Shopper's Drug Mart (3rd Line & Dundas) hosts Jack's Lemonade Stand at their annual BBQ June 14 OneXOne Foundation invited Jack to their Calgary Gala hosted by Ben Affleck. May 24 Jack hosted his Lemonade Stand and with the help of more than 1,000 thirsty guests, $45,147 was raised!. Shopper's Drug Mart (3rd Line & Dundas) Cosmetic Department held a teddy bear auction in support of Jack's Lemonade Stand May 10 Automacs Collision held a car wash in support of Jack's Lemonade Stand. May 3 Longo's Burloak hosted Jack's Lemonade Stand April 30 Read about "Huggable Jack" in the Oakville Beaver April 28 Jack appeared on Susan Hay's "Making a Difference" segment with GlobalTV April Memorial Elementary School held a bake sale in support of Jack's Lemonade. |
